Search engine optimization (SEO)
What is SEO and why do I need it?
SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the process of making the content on your website more recognizable to search engines like, Google, to improve your company’s position ranking on search result pages. Remember, the higher your website is ranked, the more organic traffic your business gets. In fact, Google accounts for 92% of the search engine industry market share and has around 8.5 billion searches per day (oberlo). This means, all that good content we talked about creating (click here if not) is worthless, if people can’t find it. Put simply, it’s our job to demonstrate to search engines that your content is the best result for the topic at hand. Through advanced SEO tactics, Symspot is able to increase the credibility and authority of your website.
Components of SEO:
The three main components of SEO are Technical SEO; On-page SEO (content); Off-page SEO (links).
Technical SEO: Allows search engines to crawl your website, identifying keywords and phrases that clients have used in their searches. Additionally, Technical SEO includes how fast your website loads, if your website is adapted for mobile platforms, and has good, clean content.
On-page SEO: Has to do with the design and experience of your website. It’s the bridge between the high-quality content you’ve created and fine-tuning it for a specific search engine’s algorithm. Furthermore, this involves performing critical key word research, enhancing metatags, and correcting image headings to help keep clients on your site longer.
Off-page SEO: The process of guiding traffic to your site from other sites and sources. Building backlinks from other sites, and increasing your brand awareness through social media, is all part of Off-Page SEO.
At Symspot, we will tailor an SEO strategy that is right for your business to ensure you gain maximum visibility online, and most importantly, boost your search rankings.
